Free Classified ads are available to private advertisers only and are usually a one off sale/request. Local Trader reserves the right to refuse or limit multiple or high quantity free advertising.

Any product or service offered or wanted by any individual or registered business, whereby an income or profit is derived, whether it be by way of hobby, main or supplementary income, does not meet the criteria of a free private classified and is therefore a payable ad.

Free Private Classifieds, whether for sale or wanted, can be advertised free for 6 months only, thereafter they become a payable ad.

If advertising for wanted items, you cannot then sell that particular item as a Free Private Classified.

All litters or multiples of animals or pets, livestock etc are payable. All animals over $100 are a payable ad. All ads for Real Estate (except DOH swap & share accommodation) are payable.

Local Trader allows one same item per 12 month period to be advertised *free, eg, 1 private vehicle advertised *free within a 12 month period.

Photos are free for 4 weeks only for *Free Private Classifieds.
